Security Manager

Applicants must be comfortable in an IT support role and facilitate the journey to CMMC compliance, with strong observation, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate enjoys being active and will work with an engaged management team that empowers employees to seek opportunities for process streamlining and efficiencies and implement them. As Facility Security Officer (FSO) the candidate will be responsible for supporting an established Industrial Security Program. The candidate will interface between the business, customer, and government personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other Program Classification Guides. This position requires a self-motivated candidate capable of working in an independent environment with minimal direction and requires experience and knowledge in security management. The FSO will work with the AFSO to provide security expertise, guidance, and advice to management and staff within the company. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, implement security measures and programs to meet all requirements. As Information System Security Manager ISSM the candidate is responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information system security requirements for Control Vision’s Authorized Information System (AIS). The successful candidate will have the knowledge and expertise required to manage all security aspects of information systems and oversee the day-to-day security operations of each system, associated media and networks. As IT Liaison, the candidate will serve as the main point of contact between Control Vision business and our IT team. The candidate will need to "explain the requirements of end-users to IT " and "explain IT to end-users”, and help manage and coordinate technology projects such as supporting CMMC level 2 compliance, system upgrades or new software implementations. Responsibilities include becoming familiar with engineering tool requirements and collaborating with IT to securely bring those tools into utilization, facilitating regular meetings, and ensuring project milestones are met. Desired Experience • Experience as FSO desired but not required. Will train as needed. • Experience as ISSO, Alternate ISSM, or DoD equivalent at an organization of similar size and complexity. • Experience with AIS reaccreditation process and security controls under the NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST-SP-800-53, and DAAPM. • Experience with NIST special publication SP-800-171, • Knowledge of security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security • Must have existing DoD Clearance • Ability to interpret and implement security policy, provide guidance, and assist company personnel • Ability to read, understand, and apply government regulation, policies, and procedures (NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, applicable ICDs, etc.). Skills • This role is highly collaborative, requiring regular communication with both managers and technical teams • Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities • Experience managing several projects simultaneously to completion • Ability to stay current with constantly evolving security concepts and programs • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Adaptable to change and able to prioritize responsibilities • Proficiency in Office 365 This is position is located in Tucson, AZ.
