About Us/Legacy Products
Control Vision Incorporated has been designing digital camera systems to monitor high-temperature/high-luminosity processes since 1986. These camera systems provided real-time video imagery of these processes using the patented LaserStrobe and PyroCam technology.   We no longer build these product but we do still service them.

Particles can be seen hitting a substrate during HVOF Thermal Spray, taken by LaserStrobe system.
LaserStrobe I systems gave unique insight into high-temperature/ high-luminosity industrial activities. The captured video imagery revealed details hidden by the high temperature and brightness of the process. For example the use of LaserStrobe in thermal spray processes, details of powder injection, flow characteristics / velocities of particles, and coating build up on the substrate, are viewed without interference from the plasma or flame.

PyroCam was an actively illuminated imaging system designed to view lower luminosity/ lower temperature processes involving high temperature or molten metals, ceramics, and glass.

WeldingCam was designed to provide video imagery of the weld pool, electrode, and feed wire without being overwhelmed by the arc's plasma light, which frequently interferes with other welding camera systems. WeldingCam was essentially blind to the welding arc, providing a very pliable and precise image. The WeldingCam system was extremely easy to use, as there are no tedious alignments, as with spot cameras, nor is it necessary to be an imaging expert to obtain a functional image.

InvisiCam meets the industry need for a cost effective early visual detection system for the detection of hydrogen, methanol racing fuel, and other invisible fires. InvisiCam provides a very high contrast and detailed video image of the normally invisible hydrogen flame; even in intensely sun lit localities.
